Overview and Objectives

This intensive 1-day hands-on workshop will cover best practices in COPD management. By creating an experimental learning environment through video and interactive lectures, facilitated case-studies and hands-on sessions on proper spirometry techniques, attendees will leave the course with practical skills and knowledge that can positively impact the quality of life and outcome of their patients with COPD.

 

Topics include:

Treatment Strategies To Improve Quality of Life Performing Spirometry Coding and Interpretation of Spirometry Proper Metered-Dose Inhaler Techniques Learn from a multidisciplinary course faculty consisting of board-certified pulmonary and primary care specialists, advance practice nurses, respiratory therapists, and certified pulmonary function technologists.
