2010 Research Awards
The 2010 Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Delta Beta-at-Large Chapter Research Awards
- $2000 is available for awards in 2010.
- The purpose of the grant is to encourage nurses to contribute to the advancement of nursing through research.
- Allocation of funds is based on the quality of the proposed research, the future promise of the applicant, and the applicant's researchbudget.
- Applications will be considered from nurses who are interested in developing or assisting in a current program of research.
Eligibility Criteria
- Registered nurse with current license.
- Sigma Theta Tau Delta Beta Chapter-at-Large member in good standing.
- Submit a complete research application package by the deadline.
- Ready to implement/progress with the research project when funding is received.
Proposal Review Process
Proposals will be evaluated by a Review Committee consisting of representatives from the Delta Beta Chapter-at-Large Board of Directors and/or Research Committee.
Notification of Award Recipients
Awards will be announced at the Delta Beta Chapter-at-Large Scholarship & Research Tea on Sept. 21, 2010 6:00 pm at the USF CON.
Submission Procedures
Two (2) copies of the application must be received by TBA. The original must be typed, double-spaced, and submitted along with a second copy for blind review that does not contain the applicant’s identifying information. Only the original application needs to have the signature of the Principal Investigator and individual of the primary and/or collaborating organization, if appropriate.
Incomplete proposals and those received after the deadline will not be considered.
Applications or supporting documents will not be accepted after the deadline.
