Voluntary Committees

Research Conference Committee

A committee will assist the event chair with the planning and implementation of the event.

Scholarship/Awards Committee

The chapter awards several scholarships and research grants throughout the year. A committee may be utilized to coordinate the announcement of the opportunities, collection of the responses, and decision-making of the awards.

Events Planning Committee

The chapter conducts two inductions and scholarly meetings throughout the year. A committee is needed to assist with the planning of the events. Committee members may assist with finding venues, choosing the food, announcing the event (via email and/or regular mail invitation) to the chapter, making name tags (if needed), etc.

Newsletter/Communications Committee

This committee will be in charge of emails and updates to the website and correspondence with the membership about upcoming events.

Community Service Committee

This is a newly proposed committee. This committee may seek out community service projects that the chapter can participate in and coordinate the volunteers and implementation of the projects.
