Meet Our President

Rose Cassidy

Rose graduated from Queens General School of Nursing with a Diploma in January 1975. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of the State of New York Regents College (now known as Excelsior College) in May 1988 and her Master of Science in Adult Health from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in May 1993. Additionally she completed a Post Masters Certificate in Pediatrics in May 1996.

Her NP experienceI includes Infectious Disease Department, Emergency Department both in the Adult and Pediatric areas, Family Practice, and Private Internal Medicine/ GI practice.Additionally, she has worked as Adjunct Faculty for both Stony Brook University and  Pace University.

She has been a member of NPALI since 1993 and has served on the Legislative Committee, and as Treasurer  four years. She  was instrumental in the development of the Student NP Scholarships followed by the DNP Scholarship and she continues to be Chair of the Scholarhip Committee as well as President of the NPALI.
