CNAP is a state level committee is comprised of APRNs from all four roles--CNS, NP, Nurse Anesthetists, and Nurse Midwives. It is collegial and interesting. Meetings are in Austin, typically 10-3 pm, on Fridays. Our members and CNS students are welcome to attend--if interested, please email: drclark.txcns@gmail.com for information about meetings. This is a wonderful opportunity for a CNS who is interested in scope of practice and legislative issues.
See www.cnaptexas.org for more information about the organization. All members of Texas CNS should be aware of CNAP and it's activities on behalf of all APRNs in Texas.
