Our Association and Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote health and wellness of children in the community.
We support nurse practitioners in the promotion of health and wellness
of children in their clinical practice and in the community. We provide
educational opportunities to enhance the practice of all providers of healthcare
services to children. As a group, we participate in legislative issues that affect
children and their families. We are committed to mentoring new nurse practitioners
and are a resource for nurse practitioner students seeking pediatric clinical
experiences as a part of their education.
Letter from the Executive Board
The Sacramento Valley NAPNAP Chapter was created in 1995 by a
dedicated group of pediatric nurse practitioners. We are a professional
organization affiliated with the National Association of Pediatric
Nurse Practitioners providing a national voice in legislative issues
and educational opportunities focused on health and safety in children.
