General Information

The 2020 NMNPC Virtual Conference will include stimulating continuing education presentations, workshops and opportunities to network with your peers via the online virtual conference platform. Our keynote presentation will be Difficult Conversations: What NPs Need to Know by Anne Katz, PhD, RN, FAAN. Dr. Anne Katz is the certified sexuality counselor and Clinical Nurse Specialist at CancerCare Manitoba in Winnipeg, Canada. Dr. Katz is the immediate past editor of the Oncology Nursing Forum, the premier research journal of the Oncology Nursing Society. She was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing in 2014. She is also the Vice President for CANO, the Canadian Association for Oncology Nursing. Dr. Katz is the author of 13 books for health care providers and health care consumers on the topics of illness and sexuality, as well as cancer survivorship.

Conference Information

The virtual conference platform will provide unique benefits. One of the most important is the presentations will be available on demand for up to two weeks following the live online presentations. This will give participants  flexibility in completing the CE activity. Register by June 27 to avoid a late registration fee. Student members are eligible for a reduced registration fee, but must submit a letter from their program confirming student status. NPs pursuing additional education are not eligible for the student rate. If you're not already a member of NMNPC, you may join now and be eligible for the member registration fee.
