I am soliciting volunteers to join me for the Music City Rock n Roll Marathon on April 25, 2015. Each year, I volunteer for the medical team of this great event. This year, I would like for the TN Nurse Practitioner Association to join me. We will register, as a team, to provide medical support for the runners.

Our own member, Salimah Jonezz, is an advocate runner in this event. If we have others in this group, who will be in the race, please let me know. I would love to spotlight you on this site.
We can cheer for the runners and administer medical treatments to the ailing. Treatments usually consist of asthmatic runners, abrasions, sprains or heat exhaustion. Each station is equipped with proper supplies. Each volunteer receives a medical team t-shirt.

As I have stated during our meetings, we have to become visible and supportive in the communities, for them to know who we are and the services we provide. Please inform me as soon as possible in order to have the appropriate number of shirts needed. I will also post this on our event calendar.
