Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center in Salida, CO is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in a busy hospital-based outpatient pain management practice. Candidates must be experienced and competent to provide medication management as well as injections to patients of varying ages under the general direction of the medical director for the pain management service line. The NP will be expected to provide outreach clinics 1-2 days a week, so they must be willing to travel. The Hospital provides a competitive employee compensation package with excellent benefits.
The Primary Service Area population is 18,000; the total service area is 33,000. Candidates should be seeking a small community with theatre, art galleries, and music including the Salida/Aspen concert series. Salida is known for having the mildest climate in Colorado and breathtaking beauty.

Salida is surrounded by 14,000 foot mountain peaks. 80% of the land is public and available for world class hiking, downhill skiing (Monarch Mountain), cross country skiing, mountain biking, hunting, atving, gold medal fly fishing, rafting, etc. Salida is located 135 miles South of Denver and 100 miles west of Colorado Springs. - Master's degree or higher

- Experience providing pain management in a clinic setting
- Willingness to travel 1-2 days a week to provide outreach clinics
