Title: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Yonkers, NY (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract, Mon-Fri, 09:00am-05:00pm

Compensation

Pay Range: $58.80-$84.00 Per HR

Description

Work as part of a healthcare team to provide quality care in nephrology.

Collaborate with primary care and nephrology teams.

Operate under the supervision of attending physicians in a nephrology practice.

Provide direct patient care and support services, including education and medication management.

Engage in patient follow-up and review lab results.

Key Responsibilities

Perform age-appropriate history and physicals independently.

Provide comprehensive primary care services, including wellness and acute illness management.

Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.

Prescribe appropriate treatments and monitor intervention effectiveness.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for referrals.

Facilitate patient and family decision-making through educational tools.

Provide on-call coverage as requested.

Qualifications

Current valid license to practice nursing in New York State.

Master of Science Degree.

Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State with at least two years of experience.

Experience In Nephrology Strongly Preferred.

Knowledge of healthcare management systems is an asset.
