Bluff Recovery is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality medical care to clients in our Augusta, GA program. This is a PRN position, offering flexible hours while supporting individuals on their recovery journey.

Position Overview

The Medical Provider delivers direct client care and supports the consistent, high-quality delivery of clinical services. This role collaborates closely with the Program Director, Clinical Director, clinical team members, health plans, and community partners to ensure the physical and behavioral health needs of clients are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care and medication management for clients.
• Collaborate with primary care providers to ensure comprehensive healthcare coordination.
• Communicate and coordinate with external medical staff, including inpatient and state facilities.
• Support client engagement through effective clinical decision-making and timely follow-up.
  
  

Required Qualifications

Licensure, Education & Experience

• Active NP or PA license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of one year of experience in substance use disorder treatment, including hands-on clinical training in SUD care.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities with strong clinical judgment.
• Ability to respond calmly and appropriately in crisis situations.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations and guidelines related to behavioral health and substance use treatment.
