Please contact your state legislators and ask them to support HB 997.

Legislation: HB 997 will be introduced on Tuesday, February 16th. This bill will convert the existing Preceptor Tax Incentive from a deduction to a credit by 2017. It will also grant eligibility for certain APRN and PA community based faculty to earn the credits. This is of critical importance to the state's 5 medical schools, 20+ advanced practice registered nursing programs, and 6 Physician Assistant programs.
