Scholarships for NP Students

Background:
Our chapter is offering two $500 scholarships to Nurse Practitioner students who are finishing their program in May 2016. We will also consider applicants for monetary stipends for research in preparation for thesis work at the Masters or Doctoral levels. Applications will be accepted from March 15th through April 30th 2016, and we will announce the scholarship recipients at the May 4th quarterly meeting of the Susquehanna Chapter.

Application Criteria:
1. Current membership in the Susquehanna Chapter of the NPA*
2. Completion of NP degree in May 2016 with a GPA of 3.5 or greater
3. Have at least 2 years experience as an RN
4. Provide names and contact information for 2 professional references
5. Describe your academic and professional goals and achievements
6. Include a copy of your resume or curriculum vitae
7. Include information pertinent to financial need.
