We are an organization of dedicated professionals with the goal of promoting the role of the PNP in both Primary and Acute Care,  and one chapter of many in our national organization network. 

Many of you came to the PNP Night Out in October and were able to hear the inspiring words of Loretta Ford, the co-founder of NP Education here at CU 50 years ago. Blazing a future for our profession takes all of us working collectively to shape the next 50 years! Next March, the NAPNAP Annual Conference will be in Denver! It's a great honor to be the host chapter and Jessica Keester, our incoming president will learn what we can do to become involved. It will be a great opportunity to showcase our chapter and city. 

In addition, we have decided to hold the next RM Chapter NAPNAP Night Out to the week of the national conference, and have it downtown! It will be a great opportunity to attend the conference and then join colleagues and friends to network and have a great evening out. More information to come!

If you have been thinking about becoming involved, now is the time. If you haven't thought about it, please consider joining us. 

Open Board Positions: We have one candidate for President-Elect and are seeking others who may be interested in running for this position. As specified in our bylaws, the President-Elect shall become familiar with the duties of the president and shall automatically succeed to the presidency at the conclusion of the president's term of office. Both the President and President-Elect receive support from the chapter to attend the annual NAPNAP meeting. 

Open Committee Positions:

• Chapter Historian: The chapter historian keeps records of chapter activities. This is an important role and not time-consuming. 
• PR Committee: The PR committee is in need of several members to plan the NAPNAP Night Out next March. It's a great way to meet other members and help make the event great! It can't happen without member support.
