Good afternoon Pennsylvania GAPNA members,

SB 717 has now passed the Senate Appropriations Committee, which means it's now going up to the full Senate for a vote! This bill will allow full practice authority for NP's in Pennsylvania. It will require NP's to have a collaborative agreement with a physician for 3 years and 3600 hours upon graduation from a certified NP program. After that the NP will no longer be required to have a collaborative agreement in order to work.

We desperately need your support of this bill through the AANP Advocacy Center, so we'd like to ask you to please consider doing so now.

It's time to improve Pennsylvania health care for NPs and our patients!

Please join me in this effort.

Thank you,

Terri McDonald, DNP, CRNP
