This symposium is targeted towards all health-care providers who treat patients suffering from opioid addiction, including nurse practitioners, nurses, mental health providers, therapists, pharmacists, physicians, psychiatrists, physician assistants, as well as public health professionals, social workers, and health policy experts. It is particularly relevant for the following specialties: family practice, pediatrics, general medicine, internal medicine, pain management, psychiatry, social work, and rehabilitation.
