New rules were finalized in June edition of the Louisiana Register regarding the delegation of medication administration to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) by RNs and APRN. Please see a copy of the attached rules (above) starting on page 873. There are some provisions regarding the education, competency, etc. of the UAPs as well as required policies.
