THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THE 2016 FALL INSTITUTE IS SEPTEMBER 4TH - REGISTER NOW TO AVOID A LATE FEE! Registrations postmarked on or before September 3rd will not incur a late fee, but confirmation may be delayed. If you mail your registration after August 31st, the confirmation receipt will come on or after September 12th, as the office will be closed from September 3rd to September 12th. Online registrations will be acknowledged within a few days, so this is the preferred registration method starting September 1st. Register online at http://appnfall.org/ Rooms are still available at the discounted rate on a first come first served basis; contact The Village Hotel, 535 South Park Ave., Breckenridge, CO 80424. Reservations: 1-800-800-7829 and mention Group Code: BC0SP6 for the discounted rate.

If you have mailed your registration and have not received a confirmation email/receipt, please contact the treasurer at treasurer@appnfall.org or text/call Carolyn Dacres at 720-290-7895. You should receive a confirmation within one week after your registration is paid, unless you mail it after August 31st.

Remember to renew your CAPPN membership to receive a $40 discount on your tuition! There are some significant changes to the Institute this year. We have ended the program mid afternoon on Saturday to allow more time to network and relax for the remainder of the afternoon and evening. We are offering a discounted rate to retired APN's who no longer need CEU's, but want to stay in touch with former colleagues and friends! And....we are no longer including pharmaceutical sponsored meals as a part of the program (although there are optional meals that you may attend if you like; see attachments below with instructions for registering to attend). We will continue to have pharmaceutical and wellness exhibits to visit on breaks, located in separate rooms from the educational presentations and meals.

We have an outstanding line-up of speakers and topics this year:

CONFERENCE SPEAKERS AND TOPICS:
  • John Derrick, MSN, CPNP-PC, MDiv: Autism, a Spectrum of Diversity
  • Christopher (Kip) Doran, MD: Mothers Little Helper Revisited: Benzodiazepines in 2016
