Parents, caregivers lack knowledge of child-safety hazards
Parents were able to identify only 47% of the potential safety hazards for young children in the home, while day-care workers identified only 37% and health professionals identified only 29% of the hazards. Parents found only 40% of hazards when asked to find those that would be problems for their own children.
