This past week, NHNPA opposed HB 538, the bill to allow for temporary licensure of people who are licensed in other states or countries. There was widespread opposition to the bill from a number of other professional groups, including surveyors and architects. That hearing will continue next week.
The House passed HB 208 with the amendment that includes the language we proposed including an APRN appointed by NHNPA on a Commission to study involuntary commitments. The House also passed HB 264, the bill to create a commission on sale of oral contraceptives, which likewise includes an NHNPA appointee. These bills now go over to the Senate.
Have a great week !
