NP participants needed for research study on Down's Syndrome
Greetings,
We would like to invite you to participate in a research study to improve the delivery of primary care to adolescents and adults with Down syndrome. The goal of this study is to understand factors that make it easier or harder to provide primary care to this population. Ultimately, the investigators plan to use this information to design a tool that will personalize preventive care recommendations for individuals with Down syndrome, incorporating preventive care activities pertinent to their Down syndrome, age, gender, social history, and family history.
As experienced primary care providers, your perspectives are invaluable and will greatly benefit the development of this clinical support tool.
We are hoping you will agree to participate.
- We plan to include all types of primary care providers (nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and physicians) from all primary care specialties.
- Participation will involve a 30-45 minute interview in person or by telephone about your experiences providing primary care and a brief survey of demographic data.
- The interview will be scheduled at a time that is good for you.
- You will receive a $10 gift card as a small acknowledgement of the time required for participation.
- Please reply directly to Rebekah Marsh at Rebekah.Marsh@ucdenver.edu or call 303.724.3115 with any questions you may have or to express interest in participating. To best protect your privacy, do not respond to the person who otherwise sent you this email on that communication.
We encourage you to take part in this study and share the perspectives that only you can provide.
