HB 90, Rep. Holly Rehder's bill that establishes the Narcotics Control Act and creates a statewide Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP)could be debated as soon as today!
Missouri is the only state in the country to not have a statewide PDMP in place. The programs are designed to stop patients from being able to "doctor shop," bouncing from one prescriber to the next to get painkillers. This program is a step forward in stopping the states opioid epidemic.
