During your NEXT license renewal period you are required to have completed 6 hours of suicide prevention training. BEFORE JUNE 30, 2017 any six hour course fulfills the requirement. AFTER JULY 1, 2017 only state approved classes will fulfil the requirement. ARNPs United suggests this course which can be taken on-line, costs $18 for a certificate of completion and contains excellent content. BUT YOU MUST SHOW COMPLETION BEFORE JULY 1, 2017.
