– This week, the Senate Finance Committee finished its work on the proposed state budget and budget trailer bill. The version of the budget package that will go the Senate floor next week includes about 12 million in appropriations to fund  the mental health system improvements that NHNPA supported in HB 400. These include increases in the numbers of DRF beds, transitional step-down beds, and 8 peer crisis respite beds. There is also funding for a new mobile crisis team. The budget bills will be on the Senate floor on Wednesday or Thursday
