From Your Florida Chapter of NAPNAP:

Tammy Phu has requested our assistance with her DNP Capstone Project. If you can take 10 minutes to participate in her survey by March 15, 2013, it would be appreciated. Thank you!

Membership Chair: Michele Pedulla DNP, ARNP, CPNP-PC

From Tammy Phu:

"I am a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) student in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at the University of Florida. I’m also a NAPNAP student member. As part of my coursework I am doing a research project entitled “Vitamin D Deficiency Screening Practices among Nurse Practitioners caring for Children.” The purpose of this project is to survey vitamin D deficiency screening practices among nurse practitioners caring for children. It is my hope, that contributions to this knowledge base will one day positively influence the high prevalence of vitamin D deficiency among children in the U.S.

I would like to ask if you could help me in my coursework by posting my survey link on your NAPNAP chapter website. The survey is voluntary and will take about 10 minutes to finish. The survey will be open until March 15, 2013. The survey link can be found below in this email if you agree.

If you have any questions about this research protocol or survey, please contact me at (352)283-1668 or my faculty supervisor, Dr.Rose Nealis, at (352)273-6412. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Tammy Phu, BSN, RN, UF Pediatric DNP Student
