I was fortunate enough to receive the MPJ award last year from CAPNI. CAPNI paid for me to fly to DC, attend the AANP Health Policy conference, and stay in the hotel at which the conference was held. In just a few days, I was able to learn a ton about how legislative system, learn from our surgeon general, APRNs working in politics, meet my federal legislators, see some sights, and much more.
