The Annual Building Bridges to Research Based Nursing Practice Conference is now accepting abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. 

 

Abstract Guidelines

 

1. Title of the oral presentation or poster, the authors’ names, credentials, organization affiliation, city; phone number and e-mail of 1st author.  Indicate if you are submitting an abstract for an evidence-based, quality improvement project, or for a research study.

 

1. Under the heading, identify submission for oral or poster presentation. Research or projects presented orally must be completed by the conference date, preliminary or to-date findings accepted for posters.

 

1. Include labeled sections, as applicable to the work. 

• Background or Significance
• Purpose of the project or study
• Literature review including the following, if applicable

1. Conceptual framework for research projects
2. Evidence yield for EBP projects

                                               iii.      QI approach for QI projects

• Description of Sample or Population
• Setting
• Results or Outcomes
• Conclusions and Implications

 

1. For all oral presenters please submit a COI (Conflict of Interest form), the abstract and a Bio form.

 

For poster presenters, please have the first author and anyone who will be standing with the poster at the conference submit a COI, the Bio form.

 

1. Please submit all required documents to no later than December 1, 2017.  Abstracts without the appropriate forms cannot be considered for presentation.
