Christus Cabrini is trying to get a pediatrics hospitalist service started soon.

They are looking for 2 (Family or Pediatric) nurse practitioners to help manage this service. The position will include inpatient pediatrics (no PICU or NICU), covering patients admitted from the ED or from local pediatricians. It would include being first-call from ED and Pediatric floor with physician supervision, and daily rounding with physician collaboration. Inpatient pediatric experience, though preferable, is not required as they will be working closely with Dr. Broussard daily to care for the patients. Depending on the model set up, there may be some outpatient work as well when not on the inpatient service.
