With 1,600 Nurse Practitioners licensed in New Mexico, our profession needs to continually monitor and address the challenges to NP practice. Constantly changing health care policies and politics requires the expertise of a knowledgeable lobbyist, someone that understands our profession and serves as our front line advocate.  Attached is the 2018 Legislative Update provided by Linda Siegle, the only Nurse Practitioner Lobbyist in the NM. She remains knowledgeable, experienced and dedicated to our profession.
