Dr. Tay Kopanos serves as Vice President of State Government Affairs for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Tay directs AANP’s state affairs programs, and coordinates AANP's advocacy on a state health policies that impact NP practice and patient care. Prior to coming to AANP, Dr. Kopanos practiced for on over a decade as a family nurse practitioner and has served as the FNP program coordinator at the University Of Colorado College Of Nursing.
