The College of Nursing at the University of South Florida was recently awarded a 1.3 million dollar HRSA grant; entitled, “ Faculty Development: Integrated Technology into Nursing Education and Practice Initiative (ITNEP)” . The aim of the ITNEP grant is to deliver ongoing education in the areas of informatics, telehealth and simulation to nursing faculty within the state of Florida. This initiative will also allow for the development of a multi-institutional collaborative with the expertise to provide ongoing education and the support for faculty in the use of informatics and other technologies for nursing education and practice.
