Managing chronic pain with opioids can be one of the most stressful challenges that clinicians experience. These encounters often boil down to critical conversations with patients about their pain, pain medication, and behaviors around them. In this unique two-session training series, participants explore and practice the skills of motivational interviewing and clinical compassion to foster more effective and less stressful con- versations with patients.
These trainings are provided FREE through a grant from the Vermont Department of Health, Division of Alcohol & Drug Abuse Programs. Please see attached brochure to get more info and to register. The CE obtained will go towards the 2 CE mandate for opioid prescribers.
