Thank you to Dr. Catanzaro and UF Health North Jacksonville!
Dear Colleague,
My apologies to all for the delay in my post. Sincerest thanks to Dr. John Catanzaro, UF Cardiology for his superb presentation on Contemporary Management of Atrial Fibrillation at UF North, Jacksonville on 11/20/18! ; and Thank you to UF North Jacksonville for allowing us a great venue to host our gathering!
Also thank you to the few, brave colleagues who survived the late evening traffic to attend! We hope that those who registered to attend, but for whatever reason did not make it; will be able to attend our next meeting in the coming months.
The New Year 2019 will be starting off early with strong focus toward achieving full practice authority. I encourage each of you to check out the Florida Association of Nurse Practitioners (www.flanp.org) to keep abreast of current events that will impact your practice. Please don't forget the FLANP Annual Conference in Orlando, FL at the Rennaisance Hotel just across the street from Sea World - this coming March 2019! Please contact me for any additional information you may need or questions you may have in that regard.
As our organization continues to grow; we are actively seeking membership and will soon have the ability for you to participate by remitting a small, annual dues payment which will go toward administrative costs (e.g. Professional NP Organization fees, Refreshments for CME events, etc..). If you would like to volunteer time to participate on our board of directors; please contact me; as we are also actively seeking additional board members.
More to come.
Very Respectfully,
Brad A. Briscoe, DNP, APRN, CNS, CEN
Commander, Nurse Corps, United States Navy (Retired)
