AB 2188

This bill was just signed into law this week by Governor Schwarzenegger per lobbying by CANP. This measure amends the Unemployment Insurance Code to reflect NP authority to certify disability. This bill has an urgency clause, so is slated to go into effect immediately. CANP is already in discussions with EDD on how to implement the change in law.

In addition AB 867 was signed. This bill authorizes CSU to implement a DNP pilot program at 3 CSU campuses.
