Hi everyone! HB 2066 has not been voted on in the House of Representatives yet, though we anticipate this to happen in the near future. Unfortunately the Kansas legislators are receiving a high volume of opposition emails to our bill. 

We are challenging all Kansas NPs to ask 10-20 friends and family, as well as patients, to email or call their local legislators in support of HB 2066. I have many patients who have been happy to share a positive story with their legislator! Meaningful messages from constituents go a long way in driving home our value as advance practice nurses. Please contact any board members if you have questions or need help with this grass roots effort. EVERY legislator needs to know a NP or
