Annual Night Out award nominations
Hello! It is that time of year again to make nominations for the awards we will present at the Night Out next month. Please review the 3 categories below (there is a change this year to the award categories!) and submit any nominations to Alison at alison.conley@gmail.com by 4/1! Thank you.
Nurse Practitioner of the Year:
Awarded to the nominee who has promoted the development of the pediatric nurse practitioner role and/or promotes the health care of children. Impact of the contribution should be felt on the local or regional level where the nominee has had the most input.
Examples:
- Service as a local NAPNAP chapter officer or committee chair
- Service on regional, state, community, or school committees that impact services to children and families
- Service as mentor, instructor, or preceptor for PNP students
- Activities related to improving health care delivery for children and families within a local community, state, or region
Physician of the Year:
Awarded to the nominee who has contributed to the expansion and improvement of pediatric health care and the advancement of the profession of the pediatric nurse practitioner at the local or state level.
Colleague of the Year:
Awarded to the nominee who is not a PNP but supports and enhances the role of the PNP in the community. This special individual can be a nurse, legislator, administrator, industry representative, parent, etc.
