This week, NHNPA registered its support for SB 87, the legislation which allows NHDHHS to administer or disburse federal or other funds to syringe service programs. The bill continues to prohibit the use of state general funds unless otherwise appropriated by the legislature or if the use of the funds is deemed necessary to control a disease outbreak. NHNPA has been a strong supporter of the syringe service programs since the time they were first established in 2017.
