Dear POPS Members, 

 

I am looking forward to seeing everyone next week at our 14th Annual POPS Conference! This year’s 2019 POPS Conference is chaired by Jennifer Nance and Stephanie Detamore de Jager and they both deserve special recognition for their diligent work in creating an amazing program for our annual POPS Conference. The conference covers a variety of pertinent topics including: Perthes, limb lengthening, finger injuries, bracing early onset scoliosis, unusual fractures and keeping hips happy in children with CP to name a few. We also have two interesting panels: one on fracture management and the other on wellness that undoubtedly will stimulate a good discussion. We are offering an invaluable CPT Coding and Documentation Session specific to Pediatric Orthopaedic Practitioners for our POPS/POSNA Symposium by Karen Zupko Associates, Inc. Amanda Fletcher and Tracy Warhoover our members at large have been instrumental in coordinating this unique opportunity for our members. There is a great deal of effort that goes into producing a conference and we are fortunate to have such a dedicated conference committee that has worked collaboratively to craft a phenomenal program guaranteed to provide you with vital information to take home to your practice.

Please also come see us at the POPS table. Take advantage of a great opportunity to network with your fellow colleagues. If you are interested in becoming a member or more active with POPS, please communicate with one of our members at the table or myself to discuss options.
