Kysha Cerisier is a Doctorally Prepared Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner who works in the Emergency Department. She also serves as adjunct faculty for Grand Canyon University working mainly with doctoral students. Dr. Cerisier has published an article entitled “Connecting Chronically Ill Uninsured Patients who Use the Emergency Department as a Medical Home” in the Journal of Emergency Nursing. This manuscript outlines a process improvement intervention to connecting patients discharged from the ED to a primary care provider.
