Some insurers may use step therapy to steer patients toward less expensive drugs than the ones prescribed by their doctors. This can frustrate patients to the point where they give up on getting access to the medications they need. NEA believes this practice is wrong and needs your help to impose rational guidelines on health insurers that are regulated by federal law.
