Hello fellow CTPARNS member!

This year's Scope of Practice Review requests are out and include requests by CT Dentists and Estheticists. Please review their requests here. 

These SOP requests expand the current practice and may impact nurse practitioners and nurses currently practicing or involved in ownership in the Medspa setting. Most notably, 

• estheticians are not currently licensed in CT and the additional activities requested are now performed by licensed nurses and nurse practitioners. 
• dentists and estheticians request to provide cosmetic medical procedures, which may directly impact the business and practice of many of our members.
