We are asking you to complete this survey to learn how Michigan Advance Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) are involved in legislative advocacy and what inspires participation and barriers to this involvement.

This “Advocacy Engagement Survey” is being distributed to APRNs through their state professional organizations via email. The survey is anonymous and there will be no identifying information collected. The survey will take you less than 15 minutes to complete.

Information from this survey will be used to: 1) guide nurse educators to design and teach advocacy; 2) inform professional organizations regarding health advocacy among their membership.

Participants must be APRNs practicing in Michigan at least 16 hours per month.

Participation is voluntary. The completion of the survey implies consent.

If you receive this survey from more than one professional organization please complete it only once. The survey will be open until Monday, December 2.

If you have any questions regarding your rights as a participant in this survey, you may contact Angella Jonesjones421@msu.edu or Ann Sheehan sheeha49@msu.edu.
