Today, March 27, 2020, President Trump signed the CARES Act into law!  This legislation improves access to home health care for Medicare patients.  It contains a provision that permanently authorizes NPs to certify and recertify home health care services for Medicare patients-retiring this federal barrier to NP practice.  Thank you to AANP and AANP Federal Policy Team as well as all the NPs and others who visited or sent letters to their legislators!  Your efforts have paid off!
