WCAAP (Washington Chapter of the AAP) reached out to our chapter and asked if we could share their resources in regards to getting families in to their health care providers for well child check-ups.  Their website URL is below and has a lot of information that you can share with your patients and their families. 

They are also developing a broader “call your doctor’s office” (WCAAP note:  by which of course we also mean NP but in trying to keep it appropriate for families who may be low-literacy and for translation ease we opted for the term doctor.)  

There are lot of resources on this website, we encourage our Chapter Members and Website followers to utilize them when needed.  We need to get the kids back into the offices for WCC and routine vaccinations.  We don't need a measles, mumps and/or pertussis epidemic in the midst of COVID!
