Hello NP Colleagues,

Greetings! We are excited to share a few Kansas NP updates. Our thoughts are with you in this challenging season. We hope you are staying healthy and finding time for self-care as you provide essential services for your patients. Though in-person events are on pause right now, we look forward to being together when it is safe. We understand in these uncertain times that you may need to delay renewing your membership, and we will keep you informed on local opportunities as they are available. 

A big congratulations to board member Tracy Clark, DNP on becoming the Kansas State Representative for AANP! Thank you for your leadership! We hope the AANP conference can take place live in Anaheim, California as planned for June 2021. If you are a member of AANP, stay tuned for emails from Tracy.

This week KAPN is hosting a virtual education event about spasticity this week. Please see the invitation attached and join us Thursday evening if you are available! KAPN plans to start offering more virtual CE programs in the future. 

KAPN is also seeking specific insight and stories about NPs working with patients who have Covid-19, or whose practice has been affected by the pandemic. Please reach out to Susan at hofmannx5@gmail.com if you have a story to share!
