Congratulations Dr. Myla Magno for Being Selected as a Distinguished Educator in Gerontological Nursing

The National Hartford Center for Gerontological Nursing Excellence recognized the past president of GCGAPNA,  Dr. Myla Magno as a Distinguished Educator in Gerontological Nursing.   During the October 2020 Virtual Leadership Conference, Dr. Myla Magno was recognized for her commitment to gerontological nursing education.  Dr. Magno is a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center: Extended Care Line in Houston, Texas. 

She is the past president 2019-2020 of the Gulf Coast GAPNA Chapter and continues to serve on the GCGAPNA Scholarship and Education Committee.  The Harford Center for Gerontological Nursing has long been a catalyst to multiple Gerontological Programs in the US.  If you are interested in the designation please contact the NHCGNE at info@nchgne.org for the 2021 application process.
