Due to the pending weather forecast projecting severe winter weather, the Missouri House of Representatives has cancelled all activities for Wednesday and Thursday of this week.

As such, the House Professional Registration Committee hearing that was slated to hear testimony on HB 2434 (Rep. Derek Grier's barrier reduction bill) on Wednesday will now be postponed to next Wednesday, February 9th.

The good news is that this provides more time to coordinate people to testify and for more individuals to prepare written testimony. Please consider doing one or the other as your stories about how the barriers have helped you and your patients will be very compelling.
