To The Membership of NPAA:

It is my distinct pleasure to announce to you that the bill to allow CRNPs and CNMs to prescribe controlled substances (Schedules III-V) passed today.  This was the final vote. The bill now moves to the Office of the Governor for his signature which mush happen within 7 days.  As details become available, I will forward the information to you.  I want to thank all the many supporters whose tireless efforts of phone calls, trips to Montgomery, letters, and emails contributed to the successful outcome of our efforts!
