THIS WEEK IN REVIEW:

We are in the final days of the 2022 Florida Legislative Session. Next Friday will be the last day of the 60-day sprint. The budget conferences are well underway. All items that have not been resolved at the subcommittee level are now bumped up to the full Appropriations Chairs. Legislation is in its final days as well, with many bills passing and long debates on more controversial topics. Interspersed with these are the farewell speeches by members of the House and Senate that are term-limited out and will not be returning.
