Senator Gerald Boudreaux has been a friend of healthcare and nurse practitioners since he started his tenure as a Louisiana Senator in 2015. He currently serves on the Executive, Finance, Health and Welfare, Local and Municipal Affairs (Vice-Chairman) Committees as well as the Select Committee on Military and Veteran's Affairs (Chairman) and Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget.

He was a co-author of HB495 to improve access to care during the 2021 session and continues to support healthcare legislation that improves the lives of our citizens.
